The Police National CBRN Centre (PNCBRNC) is a business unit of the Home Office, Office for Security and Counter Terrorism CBRN unit (OSCT) from where it is funded and draws its current governance and direction. Its mandate was established as ‘becoming a centre of excellence in the development and delivery of a consistent UK-wide Police Service CBRN capability.’
The Centre is responsible for developing and delivering national CBRN Responder, Specialist and Operational Command training for the UK Police Service, as well as providing joint national CBRN Tactical and Strategic Command training across the UK Emergency Services, including Specialist Military and Scientific support roles.
PNCBRNC UK is able to design, develop and deliver bespoke training programmes in support of approved UK national and international programmes.

These Programmes are examples of cooperation and assistance that could be offered by the United Kingdom. The UK also contributes to programmes led by the European Union.
