The workshop is developed for biosafety capacity building and enhancement of international cooperation in the field of prevention and control of infectious diseases among the participating countries. The workshop is designed for laboratory managers and directors, research and laboratory staff who are carrying out or planning to conduct infectious disease research in biosafety facilities from the developing countries, and aims to provide training about the biosafety laboratory management and techniques.
