1. Integrated disease-carrying vector prevention and control programs:
- Vector-communicated diseases.
- Operational use of biopesticides in vector control.
- Integrated vector control.
- Eco-systemic approach to disease prevention.
- Integrated strategy for projects by countries.
- Genetic engineering used to improve biopesticide formulations.
- Isolation and characterization of indigenous strains used in vector controls.
- Development of new products.
2. Animal health: Prophylaxis and therapies:
- Development of veterinarian products.
- Biopharmaceuticals.
- Experience with the use of pharmaceuticals in veterinary medicine.
3. Biopesticides, biofertilizers and biostimulants for agriculture:
- Taxonomy, characterization, biodiversity and ecology of beneficial organisms used in Cuban agriculture.
- Action mechanisms of bioproducts and their relationship with various forms of agricultural production.
- Manufacturing technologies for agricultural biopreparations and their use, management, quality control and risk.
